Let's face it, when searching for a home, a buyer is just trying to decide if they can even picture themselves in the property.  That's why when I show my clients properties, I am looking for potential red flags to point out to you.  Red flags like code violations, permit issues, water/wood damage, possible insurance issues like polybutelene piping and/or aluminum wiring, PACE loans, negative drain flow or any other items that negatively impact the home inspection and/or the home appraisal.     Does your lender charge junk fees?  Are they experienced?  What's his/her track record?  Do they even know what they're doing?
